Yes. We host websites on managed cloud infrastructure with daily off-site backups, SSL, automated uptime monitoring, and security scanning included as standard. All hosting is bundled with a support plan rather than offered standalone, which means your site is actively maintained rather than just parked on a server.
Yes. Our hosting and support plans are what most people refer to as WordPress care plans. They cover managed hosting, weekly plugin and core updates, daily backups, security monitoring, uptime alerting, and a support task allocation depending on your plan tier. Plans start from $129 per month ex GST with no lock-in contracts. We offer Care, Cover, and Comprehensive tiers to suit different levels of site complexity and support needs.
All plans include managed cloud hosting, weekly core CMS and plugin updates, daily off-site backups, SSL management, security monitoring, and automated uptime monitoring. Higher-tier plans add monthly performance and security reports, a support task allocation for content changes and technical requests, emergency recovery support, staging site access, and faster response times. Full inclusions are listed on the pricing section of this page.
Yes. We regularly take over hosting and support for sites we didn’t build. Before onboarding, we run a technical audit covering code quality, plugin health, security configuration, and hosting environment. If the site is in reasonable shape, we’ll take it on. If there are issues that need addressing first, we’ll tell you what they are and what it would take to resolve them.
We monitor uptime around the clock and receive automatic alerts if your site goes offline. On Cover and Comprehensive plans, emergency recovery support is included. We investigate the cause, restore the site, and report back on what happened and what was done to prevent recurrence. For Care plan clients, we respond within our standard support window and prioritise recovery.
Yes. All plans include some level of content support. On Care, this is available on request at an hourly rate. Cover and Comprehensive plans include a monthly support task allocation which can be used for content changes, new pages, image updates, and minor layout adjustments. Larger content or development work outside the allocation is quoted separately.
Core CMS and plugin updates are run weekly on all plans. We test updates before applying them to live sites where possible, and we maintain a staging environment on Cover and Comprehensive plans for more significant updates. Security patches for critical vulnerabilities are applied as soon as they’re available regardless of plan tier.
Yes. Emergency recovery support is included on Cover and Comprehensive plans and covers unexpected outages, site errors, hack recovery, and critical failures. Care plan clients can access emergency support at an additional charge. Response times vary by plan, Comprehensive clients receive priority queue access.
Security is ongoing rather than a one-time setup. We keep WordPress core, plugins, and themes updated to close known vulnerabilities, run proactive malware scans, monitor for suspicious activity, and maintain daily off-site backups so the site can be restored quickly if needed. We also minimise plugin reliance on sites we build, which reduces the attack surface significantly. Comprehensive plan clients receive plugin audits and patching as part of their plan.
Yes. Plans are month-to-month with no lock-in contracts. You can move between Care, Cover, and Comprehensive at any time, or contact us to discuss a custom arrangement if your needs change significantly.
Monthly performance and security reports are included on Cover and Comprehensive plans. These cover site speed, uptime, security scan results, and a summary of updates applied during the month. Comprehensive clients also receive broken link checks and SEO health checks as part of their plan. Care clients can request a one-off health check at any time.
We host on managed cloud infrastructure configured for performance and reliability. For WordPress sites this includes server-level caching, CDN integration via Cloudflare, PHP version management, and isolated environments so one site’s issues don’t affect others. For non-WordPress or custom stack sites, we configure the hosting environment to match the technical requirements of the project. We don’t use shared hosting for any client sites.
Yes, subject to a technical review. We primarily support WordPress sites but have hosted and maintained sites built on other platforms and custom stacks. The specifics depend on the technology involved — contact us with details and we’ll confirm whether we can support your setup.
For our fixed-scope small business packages, yes, 12 months of hosting and support is included and required, as it’s how we ensure the site stays maintained after launch. For custom builds, hosting and support is strongly recommended but not mandatory. We’ll always advise on what we think is right for your situation.
Standard hosting providers give you server space and leave the rest to you. Our plans include the hosting plus active maintenance, updates, backups, security monitoring, uptime alerting, and a human you can contact when something needs fixing. The difference is that your site is being actively looked after rather than just sitting on a server.
