Yes. Accessibility is part of how we build, not an afterthought. We follow WCAG 2.1 guidelines across all projects, covering keyboard navigation, colour contrast, screen reader compatibility, and semantic HTML structure. For clients with specific accessibility requirements, such as government or health sector organisations, we can conduct more thorough audits and implement full WCAG AA compliance.
Look at their portfolio and check whether the work is relevant to your type of project. A studio that builds enterprise platforms operates differently from one that focuses on small business sites. Read the case studies, not just the testimonials. Ask how they handle scope, revisions, and post-launch support. And speak directly with the people doing the work. We’re happy to have that conversation book a discovery call and we’ll tell you straight whether we’re the right fit.
We’re a two-person studio, which means you work directly with the people designing and building your site from day one. There are no account managers handling your project. We’ve worked across a wide range of clients, from small businesses through to enterprise teams at Domain Group, so we understand how to scope and deliver at different levels of complexity. We also provide ongoing hosting and support, so the relationship continues well beyond launch.
Most projects take between 4 and 12 weeks from kickoff to launch, depending on scope and complexity. A fixed-scope small business package typically takes 4 to 6 weeks. A custom build with integrations, multiple stakeholders, or complex UX requirements will take longer. We scope every project clearly upfront so you know what to expect before we start.
Our fixed-scope small business packages start from $4,400 ex GST and include design, development, and 12 months of hosting and support. Custom projects are scoped individually and most fall between $8,000 and $30,000 ex GST depending on complexity, integrations, and design scope. We provide a clear, detailed quote before any work begins with no hidden costs.
Since 2017. In that time we’ve worked with clients ranging from early-stage startups to enterprise teams at Domain Group, across web design, development, UX, and ongoing support.
We’re based in Sydney but work with clients across Australia. Most of our process is remote-friendly. Discovery, design review, and feedback all happen via video call and shared tools. For Sydney-based clients, we’re available to meet in person where that’s useful.
It depends on whether you have the capacity to publish consistently. A blog that’s regularly updated with useful, specific content is a strong SEO asset. A blog with three posts from two years ago can work against you by signalling an inactive site. If you’re committed to a content strategy, we’ll set it up with the right structure, categories, and SEO foundations. If you’re not sure yet, we’d suggest starting without one and adding it when you’re ready.
We offer copywriting as an optional add-on at $200 per page ex GST. We work from a brief covering your services, tone, and key messages, and write copy that’s clear, direct, and optimised for search. For small business packages, copywriting can be added at the time of enquiry.
Ongoing costs typically cover hosting, domain renewal, and maintenance. Our hosting and support plans start from $129 per month ex GST and cover managed hosting, security monitoring, backups, core and plugin updates, and a support allocation for changes and fixes. Domain renewal is usually $20 to $30 per year depending on your registrar. All of this is confirmed before we start.
WordPress is our primary platform and we build on it using Bricks Builder, which produces clean, performant front-end code without the bloat common in other page builders. We also work with other platforms and custom stacks when the project calls for it. The right tool depends on the brief.
Yes. All our WordPress builds are structured so you can manage content, add pages, update images, and make copy changes without developer involvement. We include a handover and training session as standard, and our support plans give you access to us for anything beyond routine content updates.
Yes. We provide managed WordPress hosting on high-performance cloud infrastructure, included in all our support plans. This covers SSL, daily backups, security monitoring, uptime monitoring, and core and plugin updates. Hosting is bundled with our support plans to ensure sites are properly maintained rather than offered as a standalone service.
Yes. We regularly take on existing sites for redesigns, performance improvements, platform migrations, and ongoing support. We audit your current site first to understand what’s worth keeping and what needs to change, then scope the work accordingly. We can also take over hosting and support for sites we didn’t build, subject to a technical review.
Every project is different, but a standard engagement covers discovery and scoping, UX and site structure planning, visual design, WordPress development, QA and cross-device testing, basic SEO setup including page titles, meta descriptions, schema, and sitemap submission, and launch support. We provide a detailed scope of work before any work begins so you know exactly what’s included.
Yes, and it’s something we do regularly. We’ve worked within enterprise teams at Domain Group across multiple projects, collaborating with internal designers, marketers, and engineers. We’re comfortable working within existing brand guidelines, design systems, and technical constraints, and we integrate into your tools and workflows rather than requiring you to adapt to ours.
Minor content changes are something you can handle yourself via the WordPress editor. For design changes, new features, or technical work, our support plans include a monthly allocation of support tasks. Anything outside that scope is quoted separately. Most of our clients have been with us for years, so the relationship doesn’t end at launch.
Yes. We’re comfortable signing NDAs and confidentiality agreements where required, particularly for enterprise clients or projects involving sensitive commercial information.
